Some of us Saxons are up for an adventure this summer. If you are feeling the same why not come with us to the longest zip line in Europe!

Dates: 25th – 27th July (you can extend your holiday as you wish. Most of us will be coming back early to see Circe performance in Manchester on the 27th.)

Zip line: it’s the longest zipline in Europe. 1 mile long with speeds up to 100 mph!!! There is a warm up before that – little zipper with ‘only’ 400meters and speeds up to 40mph. Find more info on the website www.zipworld.co.uk.

Where is it: it’s in North Wales. We are going to Bethesda LL57 4YG.

Accommodation: we are camping. We are not sure which campsite yet (we need to know who’s going) but we have several options. Tents are fine, but caravans also possible.

Prices: Zip world costs £50 per person. It’s not cheap but I’m sure it’s worth it. Please check their T&Cs before applying – there are age, height and weight restrictions.

Important (our T&Cs):

  • this is not an official Saxon trip. It’s organized by some Saxon members (ask Solvita, Sue Bell and Sam Caple about it)
  • if you are coming on this trip please do not make an excuse for not going to the August course – we are attending and we want everybody attend. If you can’t afford both – go to the course, not this trip.
  • We are not liable for anything! 😀

Please let Solvita, Sue Bell or Sam Caple know if you’re coming.
